Membership challenges, and practical ways to solve them
The problems membership teams at associations, professional bodies and trade bodies tell us about most, from members drifting away before renewal to board reports that take days. Each guide explains why the problem happens and what to do about it, whichever system you use, and then shows where Colossus can help.

Useful first, product second
Every guide starts with advice that works with any system. Figures come from published research, including MemberWise, Marketing General, ASAE, the Charity Digital Skills Report and UK official statistics, and each one links to its source. Where research is mostly from the US, the guide says so.
Where a guide describes Colossus, it describes only what the product does today, with the plans that include it. The worked examples use fictional organisations and are labelled as illustrations.
See where your own systems stand
The Membership Systems Health Check is ten multiple-choice questions about your data, renewals, automation, reporting and member experience. You get your score out of 100 on screen straight away, with no email needed to see it.
