Colossus Systems builds membership management software for UK associations, professional bodies and charities: membership CRM, renewals, events, CPD, payments, email, a member portal and reporting in one system. It is developed and supported from Haywards Heath, West Sussex, by the people who configure and migrate each customer's system.
Before Colossus was a product, we built and ran membership, events and CRM systems for organisations such as the British Security Industry Association and the Cambridgeshire Law Society. Every one of them had arrived at the same place: members in one database, event bookings on another site, email in a third tool, payments reconciled by hand and a spreadsheet holding it all together. Renewal season meant exports, imports and chasing.
Colossus is the system we wished those organisations had been able to buy: one member record that renewals, bookings, courses, payments and emails all write to, run by a small team that is paid for the staff who use it rather than for the size of the membership.
